A class of fourth grade students was recently spotted joyfully counting the days until the writing TEST. They were choosing their words carefully, however. They were calling it the "Writing Celebration." When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. That day is a culmination of all they have learned about how to express themselves through writing. That is something to CELEBRATE! In addition to the countdown, on days that are multiples of 5, their teacher puts on the pump-you-up-song "Eye of the Tiger" and they rock out in anticipation of the big day.
