New Use for "Cootie Catchers"

Click on the image to the left to find a "cootie catcher" template that is actually a great way to assess students on story elements! Students fill in the character, author, characters, problem, solution and setting. They draw a picture and tell about their favorite part of the story. Then they fold it up and can share it with a partner in the good, old-fashioned-cootie-catchin'-way!
