Have you heard of Voicethread? If you haven't, you have to check it out when you get a minute. It's similar to powerpoint, but way more fun. You can upload pictures, documents, or videos. You can then comment by typing or recording your voice. You can even write on them, John Madden-style. There are many interesting classroom applications that come to mind-- mini lessons that can be watched by individuals or groups, or assessments that students can complete by commenting. This is the perfect time of year for your students to work on Voicethread projects. They will be thoroughly engaged-- guaranteed! We have embedded one below. Just scroll down until you see it.
