Free Rice

FreeRice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Program and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.

FreeRice has two goals:
Provide education to everyone for free.
Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

Each time you answer a question correctly on their website, ten grains of rice are earned and donated to hungry people throughout the world. Ten grains doesn't sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly!
You can choose from several subjects, including art. This is a great way to learn new words, review concepts, and teach empathy along the way.
