Check out this noise monitor! All you need is a microphone and you can use this for a variety of reasons. Two ways that it can be used come to mind quickly:
During review, give students choices regarding answers. Have students clap for the answer they think is correct. (Hopefully the most popular entry is the correct one!)
During small group time, plug in your microphone and tell your students that the noise level in the room should not be out of the "yellow zone".
